 Libra's ruled by Venus, Venus rules bivalves, bivalves have the attribute of closed lips - chastity, dedication, endurance, safe-keeping, exclusion, self-value. 

It's an autumn sign so it doesn't add to life like spring and summer. It takes. It's the scale of balance this is the obsession of people to "measure," weight loss, slim figure, size up, angle. 

In autumn things are subtracted. Desires aren't met. Achievements are tested. Did you really earn it? typething. 

Proceeding Libra, Scorpio takes this and transforms it into mind, concrete logic/Intellect, sense intellect - framework. Our every day thinking, calculating.

An autumn sign, it also subtracts. In a positive light it can be releasing in a sobering way. 

It's a sign of secrets. Magicians apply to Mars ( demons/angels related to it) to reveal secrets.
